T. D. Legate, President Minimize

Tim Legate was both, a retail and commercial lender with a major Canadian chartered bank for over a quatrer of a century. After leaving the bank, he became the Business Manager for a large Canadian marina in Eastern Ontario, where he specializes in arranging financing for pleasure craft from 15 to 60 feet.

In his spare time, Tim scuba dives, and also does software programming. On finding that software used in the Business office was either developed by / for creditor insurance companies or the automotive industry, he wrote and refined BizMar - a database application for use by a Canadian retail boat dealer to bring consistent, professional service to his clients.

Tim is a recreational boater and scuba diver with over 30 years' experience on and under the water.

What we do Minimize

We provide services to pleasure boaters in Eastern Ontario. These include BoaterExam.com seminars and Pleasure Craft Oprator Cards.

We also provide virtual Business Manager services to boat dealers and buyers in Eastern Ontario, in that we arrange indirect financing for their customers' boat purchases, obtain and transfer licences, do lien searches, plus prepare and process pleasure craft registration (Blue Books) with Transport Canada.
