It is now mandatory for anyone operating a power boat of any kind to be able to provide "Proof of Competency" on the spot. There is a significant fine if you can't.

Generally, this means having a Pleasure Craft Operator's Card:

Bowsprit Enterprises has teamed up with BoaterExam.com to provide 3 hour seminars that will provide you with the information needed to pass the exam required to get your Pleasure Craft Operator Card.

The seminar includes a two hour presentation, followed by the written exam. When you pass, you will receive a temporary card on the spot. BoaterExam.com will then mail out your permanent card in the next few days.

If for some reason you don't pass, you may return to another seminar for free.

To sign up for a course, simply go to our calendar of events, select the one that fits you best and register. The normal course fee is $80.00 payable at the door by way of cash, cheque, debit or credit card.
